seeing music

This vid called Sonar was made with just flash, and is a really well done -yet minimalistic- graphic visualization of music. If some was a pro at describing music with images- instead of sound- this is what I'd expect it to look like. I wonder how a deaf person would respond to images like this. Also it kinda reminds me of the Chuck Jones cartoon, see below the Sonar vid. [vimeo=http://vimeo.com/5324878]
